Welcome to Swingtowns Australian Shepherds. My kennel is located in Sweden, Blekinge, Karlshamn and I am dedicated to breeding gorgeous Australian Shepherds with good exterior, nice temperament , great will to work and a excellent "will- to-please". I want my dogs to be able to show a very good quality just as well in the show ring as in various competition events.
Obviously, it's important to me that I breed healthy dogs. I think it's very important to get the right information about my breeding, my goals and the breed overall - I always want to match the right puppy with the right owner. The Aussie is an absolutely fantastic breed to live with. They are always full of energy when you work with them. They are incredibly smart dogs with a twinkle in the eye. But it's not a dog for everyone.. It is a working breed that want to spend much time with it's family and most of all; They need to work in order to feel happy and complete. I do not require all my puppyowners to be elite-handelers, but I want the ambitions for dog training and above all, the knowledge of what the breed requires.
When I was looking for my first dog I wanted a versatile dog with high intelligence and that extra sparkle. The Aussie was the perfect breed for me.. It is easy to say that Aussies can do it all - because it can! I'm very versatile in what I want to do, I train and compete in various disciplines.
What I strive for in my breeding is to breed healthy and correct dogs. I will always be careful with what I choose for combinations and will never breed dogs that are not physically or mentally well.. Honesty, development, and accuracy is my motto in my breeding!
